About the service

This is the system of the University of Oulu for submission of publication information and self-archiving.

Researchers at the University of Oulu use this service to submit information about their new publications to Oulu University Library. They can also simultaneously submit their publications for self-archiving in the JULTIKA repository.

Since the library also collects publication information directly from reference databases, you are advised to check whether your publication already exists in the Oulun yliopisto tutkii (SoleCRIS) research information system. Even if this is the case, you can use this service to submit the publication for self-archiving.

The researchers are personally responsible for ensuring that all their publications affiliated to the University of Oulu are registered.

Self-archiving (parallel publishing) means that researchers also submit the articles - or so-called final draft versions of the articles - that have been published in a scientific journal to the open access repository (Jultika at the University of Oulu) of their own university as well. The self-archived versions are publicly available online.

The staff of the University of Oulu personally record into the Oulun yliopisto tutkii (SoleCRIS) system their expert tasks, teaching merits, artistic activities, conferences and visits. Departmental users record the information of international conferences organised by their department.
